Wildlife tour of central India

Destination Mumbai- Nagpur- Kanha National Park- Bandhavgarh National Park- Khajuraho- Delhi.
 

Day 1: Depart from Home :

Arrangements will be made for guests to board a connecting flight to Mumbai International Airport for wildlife tour central India.

Day 2: Mumbai /Nagpur :

Guests will arrive at Mumbai International Airport and will be transferred to domestic airport to catch connected flight for Nagpur (Nearest access for Kanha Tiger Reserve). Upon arrival guests will be transferred to Hotel, previously booked by our agent. Guests are free thereafter.

Day 3/7: Nagpur / Kanha Tiger Reserve :

Following breakfast, the next morning, guests will be driven to Kanha Tiger Reserve, for an exhilarating wildlife tour arriving there at noon. Kanha is one of India’s signature wildlife areas. The forests, grasslands and streams here are home to a great deal of wildlife. Guests will explore the park in personal jeeps in search of gaur, nilgai, sambar deer, chital and troops of langurs, tigers. Guests will also be taken on elephant back rides to spot tigers. Next four nights our home will be at the lodge.

Day 8 Kanha Tiger Reserve /Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve :

After breakfast guests will take to the prominent Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, on the way, guests will visit a local home and stop in the town of Mandla (sacred city for Gond tribal). The main bazaar is fascinating to explore with its shops selling tribal silver and bell metal.Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is one of India’s most significant Tiger Reserves. It is considered the best place in the world to watch wild tiger and is home to 250 species of birds, including India’s national bird, the peacock. The guests can enjoy outdoor barbeque dinner once they are back at the resort.

Day 9 /12: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve :

Guests will enjoy morning and afternoon wildlife excursions daily after breakfast, arranged by our agent on the wildlife tour of central India. Wildlife viewing is done by open four-wheel drive vehicle and from the back of an elephant; it’s an easy ride as cushioned platforms are very comfortable. Since most animals, including tigers, have minute fear of elephants or the people mounted on them, this is ideal for wildlife viewing. Overnight guests are free to leisure.

Day 13: Bandhavgarh/ Khajuraho /Delhi :

After breakfast guests will be driven to Khajuraho to board flight for Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel, booked by our representative to relax for the day. After dinner, guests will be transferred to the airport for the international flight.

Day 15 Back Home :

Arrangements will be made by our agent for your connecting flights to back home.
