The Wild Encounter

Destination Delhi - Jaipur - Ranthambhore - Bharatpur - Agra - Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh - Kanha - Khajuraho - Varanasi - Kathmandu - Chitwan - Delhi.
 

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi :

After Arrival at Delhi at the Indira Gandhi international terminal, guests will be assisted by our representative for The Wild Encounter Tour and will be transferred to hotel where guests will be free for the day.

Day 2: Delhi :

Guests will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi in the morning which will include the Red Fort, Jama Masjid and the bazaars of Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon, guest will enjoy a sightseeing tour of New Delhi which will include the Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb and vintage Victorian style buildings. Overnight, the guests will be in hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur :

After the arrival at Delhi, guests will be driven up to Jaipur “The pink city” on the India tour where you can feel like royalty, guests can witness the gorgeous palaces cultural attractions, heritage monuments and grand forts where Rajput queens and warriors resided in yesteryears. Afterwards, guests will be free to relax.

Day 4: Jaipur - Ranthambore :

This day on the wildlife tour guests will be driven from Jaipur to Ranthambhore where you will be taken on an early morning drive to the dense jungle of Ranthambore in a jeep for tiger tracking and bird watching. Later in the afternoon you will be driven to the jungle to view the rich wildlife. Overnight the guests will stay at the resort in Ranthambore.

Day 5: Ranthambhore :

Next day, the guests will be taken on a morning and evening safari to the park where you can also discover the wild surroundings or do some bird watching in Ranthambore national park and you can also indulge in wildlife photography over here. Afterwards, guests will be free to carry out their own activities.

Day 6: Ranthambhore - Bharatpur :

The next day, guests will be driven from Ranthambhore to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and on reaching will be checked in at the hotel, booked by our tour operator in Khajuraho. Afterwards, guests will be taken for bird watching; this place is a heaven for every bird lover as the most sought after bird species can be found here. Later guests will return to the lodge in the evening and relax.

Day 7: Bharatpur - Agra :

Next morning, guests will be driven from Bharatpur to Agra and will visit Fatehpur Sikri on the way. The majestic city at Fatehpur Sikri and the buildings at Fatehpur Sikri blend both Islamic and Hindu elements in its architectural style. On reaching Agra, guests will be transferred to hotel and will be free to relax the rest of the day.

Day 8: Agra :

Guests will be taken on a full day tour of Agra where the main tourist attraction of Agra is the majestic Taj Mahal, a structure in white by the banks of the River Yumana. Afterwards guests will be taken to see the Agra Fort, the Jami Masjid of Agra (Mosque) and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Guests will retire for the night.

Day 9: Agra - Khajuraho :

The subsequent morning, guests will be flown from Agra to Khajuraho. Guests will be taken to visit the biggest group of medieval temples here, each studded with innumerable sculptures of unusual elegance and gracefulness. The temples of Khajuraho, are indeed, celebrations of beauty, love and creative arts. Afterwards, the guests are free to pursue their own activities.

Day 10 : Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh :

This morning, guests will be driven from Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh for the wildlife tour and will be checked in at a jungle resort. Rest of the day, guests will be free to relax and for leisure.

Day 11: Bandhavgarh :

Next morning and evening on the wild encounter tour guests will be taken on a safari in Bandhavgarh which is set amidst the Vindhyan ranges, where you can explore the park which is regarded as one of the best places to see and enjoy wildlife in India.

Day 12: Bandhavgarh :

Morning and evening safari in Bandhavgarh will be organized; the park is a famous natural hub for White Tigers among many other animals. Much of the park is covered in Sal forest, replaced by mixed forests in the higher elevations of the hills. Afterwards, guests will be free to relax.

Day 13: Bandhavgarh :

Morning and evening on the Bandhavgarh tour, guests can explore the dynamic wildlife, the rich forests and varied flora & fauna in the park, this park also engulfs a rich bird life and has an untouched natural habitat for an array of wildlife, guests will retire for the night afterwards.

Day 14: Bandhavgarh - Kanha :

After breakfast, guests will drive to Kanha and on arrival; guests will be checked in at hotel, previously booked by our agent in Khajuraho. Rest of the day will be free for leisure and recreational activities in the resort.

Day 15: Kanha :

Next morning on the wildlife in India tour, drives will be organized by the park both in the early mornings and late afternoons in open jeeps and will be accompanied by a trained naturalist allowing guests to soak in the best sights in the park. Overnight, guest will be in Kanha.

Day16: Kanha :

Morning and afternoon in Kanha tour guests will be driven to the sanctuary which was the prime setting of Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book’, and is home of a variety of animals including tiger, panther, and many species of deer, wild pig, bison, a variety of monkeys and other animals besides some 200 species of birds. Overnight, guests will be free to relax.

Day17: Kanha - Khajuraho - Varanasi :

After breakfast, guests will be transferred to Khajuraho airport for flight to Varanasi, which is an important pilgrimage centre for the Hindus. Down the ages, pilgrims from distant lands have come to Varanasi in search of divine blessings. Guests will be checked in at Hotel on arrival.

Day 18: Varanasi – Kathmandu :

This day, guests will be flown from Varanasi to Kathmandu and will be duly checked in at hotel. Here you will get an enthralling glimpse of Nepal - its people, culture, traditions and mountains. Guests will be free to carry on their own activities afterwards.

Day 19: Kathmandu :

This day, guests will be taken on a full day tour of Kathmandu which will include visits to Swayambhunath- one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the country. It offers great views over the city, Nasal Chowk which comprises of statues, temples and the Rana museum and Kathmandu durbar square which is an ancient square crowded with palaces and temples, this site is the most popular UNESCO World Heritage Site in Nepal.

Day 20: Kathmandu- Chitwan :

This day on the wildlife India tour guests will fly to Chitwan National Park and will be checked at the hotel on arrival. Afterwards guests will be taken on a safari to the park which is Nepal’s first and most famous national park, comprising of a rich variety of flora and fauna. A fifth of the park is made up of the floodplains of the Narayani, Rapti and the Reu Rivers and is covered by dense tall Elephant grass. Later, guests will be free to relax.

Day 21: Chitwan :

Next day on the wildlife India tour guests will be taken on morning and evening safari where you can witness the diverse range of wildlife ranging from endangered Asian one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger to the four species of Deer, including the Spotted Chittal, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Wild Dog, Small Wild Cats, the white stockinged Gaur and many other smaller animals. This is also home for Marsh Crocodiles. Afterwards, guests will be free to relax at the hotel.

Day 22: Kathmandu - Delhi :

Next morning, after breakfast, arrangements will be made for guests to fly to Delhi via Kathmandu.

Day 23: Delhi :

In the morning on the last day of the wild encounter tour guests will be provided a full day for relaxation and in the evening they will depart from Delhi to board the international flight for onward destination.
