Destination Delhi - Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore - Jaipur - Agra - Umaria - Bandhavgarh National Park - Kanha - Nagpur - Delhi

Day 1: Arrive Delhi :

Upon arrival in Delhi, guests will meet with our representative for the forts and tigers tour and will be transferred to hotel. Guests will relax at the hotel for next two days.

Day 2: Delhi :

On this day of forts and tiger tour in India guests will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi in the morning which will include the Red Fort, Jama Masjid and the bazaars of Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon, guest will enjoy a sightseeing tour of New Delhi which will include the Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb and the spectacular Victorian style buildings designed by Edwin Lutyens.

Day 3: Delhi - Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore :

Next morning on the forts and tiger tour, guests will be transferred to the rail terminal to board the train for Sawai Madhopur. Guests will meet our agent upon arrival in Sawai Madhopur and will be transferred to hotel. The wildlife tour in India will begin in the afternoon, when guests will be taken on a drive in the Ranthambhore National Park.

Day 4: Ranthambhore :

This morning, the guests will explore the Ranthambore National Park which is an exceptional combination of natural and historical splendour. An important geological feature, the "Great Boundary fault" where the Vindhyas were brought against the ancient Aravallis, passes from here. Overnight, the guests will be at leisure.

Day 5: Ranthambhore :

Next morning on the tiger tour, guests will enjoy a game drive early in the morning. Besides the big cats, the other large predators found in Ranthambhore include Sloth Bear, Striped Hyena, Wolf, Wild dog, Jackal, Indian Fox, Palm Civet, Small Indian Civet, Common Indian Mongoose, Small Indian Mongoose, Ratel, Marsh Crocodile and the Indian Python are main wildlife members in this park. Afterwards guests will visit the Ranthambhore Fort and a drive through the park.

Day 6: Ranthambore - Jaipur :

Arrangements will be made for a drive early in the morning through the park which is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts. The rugged terrain and the dense deciduous forests are primary features of this national park, which has among the chief and most diverse collection of wildlife species in India. Guests will travel by car to Jaipur and stay at the hotel booked by our tour operator in Khajuraho for two nights.

Day 7: Jaipur :

Subsequent morning guests will enjoy a tour to Amber Fort which stands amidst wooded hills overlooking the Delhi-Jaipur highway, reflecting in the still waters of the Maota Lake below. Guests will be taken sightseeing of the city in the afternoon which will include Sawai Man Singh Museum, Jantar Mantar - Observatory, Hawa Mahal and the colourful bazaar of the Pink city.

Day 8: Jaipur - Agra :

Guests will travel by car to Agra visiting the Deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri on the way and will stay at hotel for one night on the forts and tigers tour. The majestic city at Fatehpur Sikri and the buildings at Fatehpur Sikri blend both Islamic and Hindu elements in its architectural style.

Day 9: Agra - Umaria :

Guests will be taken on a sight-seeing excursion of city in the morning comprising of the magnificent Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the tomb of Itamud-ud-daula. Later in the afternoon guests will be transferred to the Agra rail terminal in time to board the overnight train to Umaria.

Day 10: Umaria - Bandhavgarh National Park :

Guests will meet our representative upon arrival and will be transferred to hotel for three nights on the forts and tiger tour. In the afternoon guests will be taken on a drive in the National Park where the density of the tiger population is fairly high. The possibility of spotting Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Leopard, Tiger, Chital (Spotted Deer), Sambhar, Barking Deer, Nilgai (Blue Bull) and Chowsingha (Four Horned Antelope) is comparatively high.

Day 11: Bandhavgarh National Park :

Next day, guests will be taken on a morning safari viewing the main attractions in Bandhavgarh that is to the national park where you can explore the dynamic wildlife, the rich forests and varied flora & fauna in the park, this park also engulfs a rich bird life and has an untouched natural habitat for an array of wildlife peculiar to the area.

Day 12: Bandhavgarh National Park :

This morning on the forts in India tour, guests will enjoy full day of jungle activities and visit the Bandhavgarh Fort, believed to be 2000 years old, stands at the highest point. There is a temple at the fort that can be visited by jeeps. Spread throughout the park, mainly around the fort, are several caves containing shrines with ancient Sanskrit inscriptions. Overnight, the guests will relax at hotel.

Day 13: Bandhavgarh National Park - Kanha National Park :

In the morning, guests will be taken on a drive in the National Park. Afterwards, guests will return to hotel for breakfast and later travel by car to Kanha National Park which is one of India’s largest national park. One of the most successful conservation efforts of saving the Barasingha was done here. Afterwards, guests can pursue their own activities.

Day 14: Kanha National Park :

Next morning on the tiger tour in India, game drives will be organized by the park both in the early mornings and late afternoons in open jeeps and will be accompanied by a trained naturalist. Once the tiger is spotted anywhere in the jungle, through radio contact with the drivers, visitors will be driven to the location and then taken by elephant back to the actual site to see the tiger. Overnight, guests are free to relax at the resort.

Day 15: Kanha National Park:

Morning and afternoon, guests will be driven to the sanctuary which was the prime setting of Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book’, and is home of a variety of animals including tiger, panther, and many species of deer, wild pig, bison, a variety of monkeys and other animals besides some 200 species of birds. Overnight, guests will be free for leisure.

Day 16: Kanha National Park - Nagpur - Delhi :

Morning after breakfast, guests will travel by car to Nagpur to board flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival, you will meet with our representative and will be transferred to hotel for the day. This also marks the end of the forts and tigers tour. Later, guests will depart for the airport for respective flights back home.
